第17回国際ワークショップでは、Emanuele Castano博士(Department of Psychology, New School for Social Research, USA)を招き、二日間にわたって恐怖管理 (Terror management) と内集団ひいき、および集団間状況における 外集団の非人間化現象 (infra-humanization) について講演して頂いた。
その後の質疑応答では、大学院生も含め活発な議論が多く行われた。
