 Alan and I took a trip to San Francisco along with another friend on Labor Day weekend in 1980 or 1981. We were taking a boat across the bay (notice the Golden Gate Bridge in the background ) to the city Sausalito. We somehow missed the boat back and we had to take a bus across the bridge to San Francisco. (Michael Orensztein) |
 On the way back home from the San Francisco trip in 1980 or 1981, Alan was driving his red Mazda and we stopped in Carmel, California. The actor Clint Eastwood owned a restaurant there called the "Hog's Breath Inn". Our other friend on the trip was taking a picture of Alan and myself in front of the restaurant when these two unknown girls just decided to squeeze into the picture unexpectedly.  This was in my living room around late 1985 or early 1986. For a while, Miyoko lived in my house with my then girlfriend and future wife.
