For our eighth international workshop, we invited Professor David Matsumoto (San Francisco State University) to join us. He gave a talk about the universals of the facial expression, based on the analyses of photos related to athletes in Olympic. Professor Matsumoto and participants including graduate students discussed the importance of spontaneous facial expression.
