As the first step in establishing a 21st Century COE, "The Center
of Studies of Cultural and Evolutional Foundations of the Mind (CEFOM)," we
hosted the first international workshop on November 29th, 2002. The
organizers and participants
discussed their objectives and plans for research and for education.
The Center also co-hosted the fourth Conference of the
Society of Human Behavior and Evolution
on November 30th and December 1st, 2002 at the Hokkaido University Conference
Hall.
