In the 3rd US-Japan joint conference of Association for Mathematical Sociology (supported by COE21"Center
for the Study of Cultural and Ecological Foundations of the Mind"), some principal investigators and graduate students of
our team made a presentation of their studies. Rie Mashima and Nobuyuki Takahashi reported a series of studies regarding
the mechanism supporting "generalized exchange" in the Session 2. In the poster session, Mizuho Shinada and Toshio Yamagishi
reported the effect of the sanction system on the maintenance of cooperation among people.
